Best Time To Travel - Uganda's rainy season starts mid-March to May while the peak months of June, August, July & September are the best times to explore Uganda. December , January and February and October are also good months to visit with only a few rain showers. Forest parks like Bwindi and Kibale are not good to be visited during the rainy seasons.

What species do you want to see ? 
Are you interested in mammal or bird species or love both ? There are various mammal species to see on safari in Uganda including the Big Five, nile crocodiles, hippos, mountain gorillas, chimps, monkeys, antelope species plus birds of all types , so take time and determine which one interests you most. Good news is that Uganda parks have a majority of these in the same vicinity but the primates have there own dominions different from these other mammals.    

What Safari activity are interested in ? 
The kind of Uganda safari activity you want to do will determine the destination you would love to visit. 11 Lions Found Dead In Queen Elizabeth National Park

On Friday 13 April 2018, UWA guides found a pack of 11 lions including 8 cubs dead at the Hamukungu fishing village in Queen Elizabeth national park, one of Uganda's most popular national parks. Investigations by UWA specialists suggest that the lions might have been poisoned by the locals who have one it before in May 2010 when five lions were poisoned. The locals at the fishing village do this hideous deed as a way of trying to defend themselves and scare away the lions but it is not legal and it is punishable by the law, any one caught involved in the action shuold face a prison sentence.  This news has shocked the Uganda tourism industry as well as conservations across the world.
