4 Days Safari To Kidepo Valley

Kidepo Valley National park is in the Northeastern district of Kaabong bordering South Sudan and Kenya. Mount Morungule occupies the largest portion of land while the seasonal Kidepo River and Narus River flow across it. This 1,442 square kilometer park is in a semi-deserted land of the Karamojong and Ik people who are pastoralists and warriors, hunters and fruit gatherers respectively. Kidepo Valley National park was made a game reserve in 1958 when Uganda was still a British colony and established into a national park in 1962 at a time Uganda attained her Independence. The park’s wildlife attractions are giraffes, buffalos, lions, elephants, leopards and bush pigs among others together with an estimated 475 species of birds. Tristar Africa Skimmer Safaris has been organizing wildlife safaris to various parks in Uganda assigning a professional tour guide along with a comfortable 4x4 safari car for the trip. If you plan on visiting Uganda and would love to book a safari to Kidepo
